The Kosher Guide to Limassol: Chabad, the Chief Rabbinate of Cyprus and Where to Stay
Limassol has become a popular Israeli destination in recent years - a short flight, warm sea, and a growing number of restaurants under the Chief Rabbinate of Cyprus. Everything revolves around Chabad Limassol, on Porfyriou Dikaiou street, which hosts both the minyan and the main meat restaurant.
Chabad Limassol and the synagogue
Chabad of Limassol (rated 4.8), at Porfyriou Dikaiou 5, runs a minyan, a small grocery and Shabbat meals by signup - the main contact for kosher-observant visitors. The synagogue itself, Chabad Synagogue Limassol (4.7), is at the exact same address as Allenby, so for Shabbat sleep within walking distance of it.

Allenby (4.5) is the meat restaurant at Chabad itself, under the Chief Rabbinate of Cyprus - Shabbat takeaway is possible with advance order. Moses (4.4) is dairy downtown, for pizza, pasta and breakfast - good the day after meat. Asado Nice to Meat (4.6) is a grill at the marina - confirm this specific branch is on the Rabbinate list, since not every branch of the same chain is supervised.

City of Dreams Mediterranean (4.5, 5 stars), a large resort in Zakaki, serves Shabbat meals under the Chief Rabbinate of Cyprus - but it is not a full-week kosher kitchen, and on weekdays you eat at Allenby, Moses or Asado in town. For a walking Shabbat, the rule of thumb is to sleep near Chabad on Porfyriou Dikaiou, not at the far end of the marina.

Limassol Marina (4.6) is the sightseeing focus - Asado is there, but the other kosher tables are downtown, by Chabad. On Fridays everything closes early. The Chief Rabbinate of Cyprus list (rabbinatecyprus.org) changes, so check it right before you book - don't rely on a restaurant name from an old guide.

Stay in the kosher area of Limassol
Limassol does not have one obvious Jewish quarter. Chabad of Limassol (Chabad house listed on the site) is the anchor - book a hotel within walking distance of it rather than picking a random part of Limassol.
