Community and kashrut sit east: Bondi, Bondi Junction and Rose Bay, under the Kashrut Authority (KA). Central Synagogue in Bondi Junction is one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. Bondi Beach in the morning; kosher food on the streets behind it, not on the sand. Savion lost KA supervision in early 2026 — do not treat it as kosher. Lewis' is the meat institution. For a walking Shabbat stay in Bondi, not the CBD by the Opera House.
