Since January 2026 Zurich has had an eruv connecting the Enge, Wiedikon and Wollishofen neighbourhoods - about 18 km long - allowing carrying on Shabbat between those areas. It's worth checking with the local community that it's up that particular week, since an eruv needs regular inspection.
