Efteling

The Netherlands' enchanting fairy-tale park, close to Antwerp's large Jewish community

The park's official fairy-tale-themed hotel, within walking distance of the entrance.

Efteling Bosrijk

Forest cabins with a full kitchen - convenient for families who want to prepare their own meals.

See shuls, kosher restaurants and the community

Kosher food & community

There's no Chabad house or kosher restaurant at the park itself. Antwerp, one of Europe's largest Jewish communities, is about an hour's drive away - with the Chabad House of Antwerp and real kosher restaurants like Hoffy's and Eighteen.

Recommended itinerary

Day 1 - Efteling

The Fairytale Forest, the Baron 1898 roller coaster, and the nighttime lake show.

Day 2 - Bosrijk & the park at a relaxed pace

A second, unrushed day at the park, or resting in the Bosrijk forest area with the kids.

Day 3 - Antwerp

A drive to Antwerp for Shabbat or a kosher meal, with a visit to the diamond district and the Machsike Hadass synagogue.
