About this place

The only active Orthodox synagogue in Bratislava today, built in 1923-1924 in Cubist style. The old synagogue and the historic Zuckermandel quarter were demolished during the Communist era for bridge and highway construction, leaving Heydukova as the last surviving synagogue.
